Container Exhibition:
The Australian National Maritime Museum collaborated with major players in Australia’s shipping and transport industry to develop the Container exhibition.
Containerization has revolutionized the way we live, and this exhibition explores its history, impact, and future outlook.
The exhibition, housed entirely within six 20-foot shipping containers, covers topics such as shipping, ports, cargo, and container architecture.
Major sponsors include NSW Ports, ACFS Port Logistics, Maritime Container Services, DP World Australia, and Smit Lamnalco.
Container opened at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour and is free for visitors. It will run until late 2018 before touring locations across New South Wales and potentially nationally.
This initiatives demonstrate Australia’s commitment to showcasing the significance of shipping and its impact on our lives.
